Even if he has to pay for new sensors atleast he has an OBDII scanner he can use on that vehicle and any other vehicle he owns. Live data and I/M status are great tools you can use when your driving/parked.

Where did you buy your scanner? I would like to own one...is it available online? Thnaks.
