Default power windows

couldnt find a good place to put this so just picked one. on my 2002 focus my rear window wont work. when it first took a shit on me the motor was still good but it seemed like the window had slipped of the track. now i'm sure the motor is bad but now that i'm looking at it not really sure why it initially stoped working. the metel cable that attaches to the plastic peice that holds the window looks loose but i'm not sure how these things are supposed to be. anyone been through this or got a good link to a diagram of it would deffinatly be appreciated. thx.
