OK so we had a TIGHT budget and had someone come to the house to work on our 1989 4 cyl (dual plug) Ranger. Long story short they screwed up the motor to the point where it's blown.
There is oil in the radiator and there is oil coming out the tail pipe.
So here's my question:
Where is the best place for me to get a long block for the least amount of money??
The motor that was in the truck was already a replacement block that we bought but I can't remember where we got it. We paid somewhere around $1300 and didn't have to pay a core charge and didn't have to send the old motor back. If anyone had any suggestions I would be GREATLY appreciate it!
