probably not the shocks, but weak and old springs will, the only thing shocks do is dampen and absord oscillations (bouncing) from the springs. Springs would set the ride hieght of your car. Has your truck ever been in an accident? Have you ever dropped a heavy weight on the corner of the bed causing the frame to warp?
