We have a 2005 Escape, 4 cyl., and I drive it from Idaho to California every month and have found it to be the best vehicle we have ever owned. It gets between 26/30 around town and up to 36 on the highway. We are 40 miles from town so my town driving is not as accurate as my highway. We also have a 2005 F150 King Ranch truck and its gas mileage is about 16 in town and 22/24 highway. However, if given a choice of which one I will drive, I will always take the escape..not because of mileage but because of comfort.
I have over 100,000 miles on my Escape and just had to put brakes on it. Aside from oil changes it has been worry free. |
