Hi there.
Rangerman is right. I would first of all check compression, then check if you have spark at the plugs. Overheating can do lots of damage that may not be visible from the outside.
The "milky substance" was oil mixed with water, which would tell you that you blew the headgasket or cracked a head. The compression test will show the problem.
