Question How do I remove my front console armrest?

I just bought a 2005 ford focus zx4 ses. The armrest is very loose. I am trying to see if I can take it apart to see the cause. My prob is I dont know how to do it properly. I think screws are just loose. And if there is anything else thats causing it I'm hoping just a lil epoxy will do the job.

The latch (on the lid of the armrest) that locks it I guess is broken, also. When I try to move the arm rest up the lid just easily pops open. I am guessing this is a common problem. Perhaps one of the car parts that were cheaply made. But I am hoping this is an easy do-it-yourself job rather than pay over $100 just to replace it. So my plan basically is to take it apart see if I can tighten loose areas (if possible) and use the epoxy if needed. All I need to know is how to remove it properly without breaking anything and causing more damage.
