krunt Junior Member Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 3	94 escort air cond. Problem? I have a 1994 escort wagon (1.9) that blows hot air when I turn the air on. I can see that the compressor is not engaging even though it spins freely with the key off. I checked the fuses inside the cab as well as on the fender well. It did work a month ago and the light on the switch lit up, but now I get no light and hot air and no drop in rpm's. Is there something like a relay I'm missing? or a bad orifice or just low freon. Thanks for the help Jim
