My 97 ford ranger just developed a blinking O/D light and at the same time will not go in reverse. Also, as I was driving home it would not go over 10 miles an hour and then it decided to shift. Checked the fluid and it was ok. O/D light went off after adding a bit of fluid and then came back on when I put it in reverse. Hope someone has some suggestions. Thanks.
