That's pretty much how I'm installing mine too. I installed the long piece this weekend and used a good all weather adhesive that I got from home depot to use with my caulking gun. I had to weight down the best I could until it was set, it kept trying to buckle. Now this week I'll trim up the pod for the best look and set it in place.
