The fuse box is under the dash on the driver's side, directly under the brake release and hood release levers. My 2000 has a little handle you pull and the cover comes right off. Then there should be another small black plastic cover over the fuses themselves.

There is also a power distribution box under the hood, on the drivers side back towards the firewall against the fender. This has a couple of regular fuses, a lot of relays, and quite a few maxi fuses. The owners manual will show which fuses are for what for both locations.
