Car53whereRU is on a distinguished road
Default Heater motor wiring

As per the Ford schematic the fan is wired as follows:
wire 181 (orange) from fuse (20 Amp) thru a bullet connector @ fan motor.
Wire from other side of motor (black) with spade connector to blower motor resistor. From the resistor 3 wires # 268 (red) #269 (blue) and #270 (black w/ yellow stripe) go to the fan motor switch. The switch then applies a ground via wire # 57 (black). All of these wires run thru a 10 position white plastic junction block connector located under the lower left side of the dash. Hope this helps...Car53
