I was told the blend door is broken or stripped. Or possibly the blend motor. either way it needs to be fixed. My local ford dealer wants $1200 to repair. It's a $40 part but they have to rip out the whole dash out down to the firewall. I am going to take it to a guy in the san fernando valley Ca who said he could do it for $400 to $600............got to have A/C. one thing i discovered if the front stops blowing cold. turn off the blower. with the vehicle at a speed of 15 mph or faster. Hit the brakes kinda hard.....the door will fall forward then turn on the blower again. It should blow cold. If you hit the gas too hard or go up a steep hill or driveway. it will go warm again. Good Luck.....
