Default 2008 Focus oil change

I have a 2005 Focus ST and have used Amsoil 0W-30 with the EA Oil Filter. Amsoil is a 100% synthetic oil. Most Amsoil oils will go 25000 miles or one year as long as you use the EA filter. My mileage increased two miles per gallon on the first tankful. Engine protection is supperior and your engine will run cooler. You still have to check the oil and may have to add during the year. I put about 25000 miles a year on my Focus and have to add no more than a quart per year. Using Amsoil will not affect the car's warranty and is guaranteed by Amsoil against any oil related failures. I have used Amsoil lubricants in all my vehicles for the last three years and am very satisfied with the products. I am also an Amsoil dealer if you haven't guessed already. Your Focus would use the Amsoil 0W-20 oil with an EA034 oil filter. Ford also makes a 0W-20 full synthetic oil but does not offer the extended drain interval. I believe Ford recommends that you change the oil at 7500 miles with their full synthetic. The drain interval is pobably limited because of oil filter life. I would recommend you use a full synthetic. Your car will last longer and give you many years of reliable service. Good luck with whatever you choose.
