if you are smelling gas, that could mean a couple of things. Because the fuel pump was recently changed, I would look there first. the clamps on the hoses might not be attached correctly. Or, the hoses may have split or cracked (check for leak evidence under the center of the car with air conditioner off). If that area checks out, check your fuel filter. This part may have also been changed but not installed correctly. I have seen these things changed from the dealer only to come apart at the hose because the clips weren't installed correctly. |
