I have a '97 Ford Taurus. The factory cassette player in it does not have the CD operation controls, but I bought a factory cassette player that does have those controls from a junkyard. Are all Taurus pre-wired at the factory for the CD changer system? I know that when equipped, the CD unit is in the trunk on the left side. I do not see any wire/plug dangling there for a CD changer. Is it hidden? If it's not already there, I would imagine it would be a pain in the posterior to run a wire from the dash to the trunk, but I'd really like to be able to add a factory CD changer to my system.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
