Default '01 P71 wanting upgrades =]

I have a blue 01 police interceptor that i got from a police auction 2 years ago. i must say it's been a fun ride to have ...fun to mess around with friends with.

I'm looking for some advice with the possible intake manifold upgrade. I know that the crown vic and the mustang GT both use a 4.6L V8 and was wondering if i was able to find a mustang GT in a junkyard, take the heads and intake off that, would it mount easily and work well with my crown vic's block?

Also would there be a better route to go? i know going to a junkyard and pulling things off a beat up car is the budget way to go but i'm not too familiar with what intakes will work with my engine.

I'm looking to gain more of the mustang sound and a bit more compression out of my engine out of this and the obvious...more HP.

I'm also removing the fan and putting in an electric fan to free up some hp.
