Default Another New guy, help appreciated

Ok guys here's the deal. I've always been a car guy and a muscle car mechanic since the age of 19. I've worked for local speed shops building classics and late model performers until recently when I decided to go back to College to finish off my Mechanical Engineering degree...

That being said, I presently own a 1999 Camaro SS with an LS6 powertrain (C5 corvette Z06 powertrain) and all the bolt ons. I was recently presented with the opportunity to purchase a 1963 Galaxie 500 Convertible for around $5K. I've always been a sucker for classics, and should I decide to sell my car, with everything done to it.. it should fetch around 13,500 to $14,000....enough to pick up the galaxie and fix the minor details to get it back in top shape

The odometer reads 22k miles
Original black on black with a black top
original 352CI/auto car
Original AC car
no rust or cancer whatsoever... no bondo either
Floor pans are beautiful
Suspected repaint due to typical signs

She appears to be unmolested and in great shape. Is this a good purchase?
Please chime in!
