Have you checked the wiring harness for cracks, etc? The wiring harnesses get brittle and crack so check the length of it. It's going to be a PITA but that's where I'd look at this point. You can get some liquid "tape" (I forget the name of it right now) type stuff at Lowe's/HD and cover any defects you find.
Also, check the battery cables. *I think that was already suggested*
