Default 2000 Sel blowing fuses for radion/ cig lighter

Hello everyone,

I just recently bought our first minivan, a 2k Sel with only 59k miles. The dealer told me there was a problem with the radio, but if they fixed it they would have to charge me ( they had just gotten it in and hadn't looked at it.) So after a few blown fuses I have discovered that the radio fuse and the one below it blow as soon as I put a new fuse in. I am getting ready to take the radio out now and hook it up to my battery with some wire to see if it works, and go from there.

Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PS. I don't know if it matters, but it is a fm/ tape/ CD radio with the axillary jacks for the 2nd row.
