Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I was searching the web trying to figure out what is wrong with our ranger when I came across this web site. Our ranger is doing exactly the same thing. I just got done changing the fuel & air filters, plugs, cap & rotor to no avail. It runs ok as long as you are giving it gas, but dies when you let up. Trying to get it to idle it smokes and smells rich. Have you figured out what was wrong with yours? I'm thinking about getting a fuel pressure regulator now. |
