I remember your post about the rods. Tell us more about what occurred to your stock engine, did the rod go through the block? Or, were you just getting the "knock"?
It's much cheaper to do a 3L than trying to locate a 2.5 SVT engine. You really don't want to use a non-SVT engine in your SVT. You could, but why lose some of that HP, etc.
