Default Odd question?

Well everyone its been along time since i have posted and im happy to report the Explorer is in great shape. But nobody can seem to anwser the problem i am having with my other vehicle My 2004 Chevy Blazer.

I was hoping i could ask you gueys i know its not a Ford vehicle but i would like some input. Here is the problem.

So my 2004 Blazer A/c was on parked it for a bit came out to start it rpm stayed at about 1,500 for about 15 seconds slowly began to drop during this time i saw that the temperature guage was running hot. it began to drop with the Rpm guage so i thought that was weird so i went to drive it and it was making a very loud engine noise whooshing sound like on cold mornings or like a jet taking off you know that sound deep intake sound sound stopped after a minute now it was a hott day today and the A/C was on for awhile. Local mechanic tells me the reason for the Noise and the rpm staying like that is because the engine got hott sitting in the sun so the fan clutch kicked in to pump the coolant through faster also the reason for the deep sound. Is this true??? Because it seems to run hott on hotter days. My Explorer temperature never does that.

Thanks gueys.
