You have good taste in the black on black cougar. Well it turns out im a 20 year old waitress(not really but figuritly haha), i bought my car('69 gold Formal Top torino) around 6 months ago off an older man who told me he drove it every day, and everything worked perfect blah blah. I asked him to fire it up and he poped the hood, and i went to stand at the tail pipes for smoke, well i didnt realize he was spraying ignition fluid on the carb to make it run. It ran for a minute then he killed it. The car was such a good deal in my eyes it didnt really matter, but anyways he had it towed to a mechanic so he could have a small transmision problem fixed, "itll only cost abot 50 bucks", and i payed him before talkin to the mechanic but talked down 500$ and i was happy. I get a call about a week later saying the carbs rebuilt and it still wont run. he said the gas tank is rusted out. THe tank was completed rusted from the inside out and when he poured the fuel out, there was a rust pile 6 inches high, my ass the owner drove it everyday, my ass the owner ever drove it haha. oh and that 50 dollar tranny problem turned out to be 4 times more than first expected. im almost done hold on haha. to really add insult to injury, he cut ALL of the speaker wires. oh well its my fault for trusting him
