The Phantom Grip I installed into my turbo ZX2 did a lot to reduce wheel hop. A set of lower transmission mount ES bushing inserts help a lot as well. The problem is that the ZX2 has a 2 spider gear open differential. The gears bash against each other and this produces the wheel hop. No wonder the spider gears are the highest failure rate part in the car. The Phantom Grip is about $300 and it pushes the gears into the side of the drive gears (where the axles go in) and has a more positive (read, leave two solid black lines when burning out) locking action. It also greatly reduced my torque steer which was a real issue with 200 ft-lbs of wheel torque.
