could be a bad ground running from the body to the battery..if you have a bad ground the coolant gauge will give false readings of temperature..verify the temperature with a laser temp probe...if it is really hot (above 225 degrees F) make sure that the fan is running when the gauge shows hot..if it is hot and the fan is running replace the thermostat again or test it in a pot of hot water...should be fully open at 220 |
