This is the deal. It is an original console shift auto/C6 trans. I bought the car early in its restoration. Now complete, the engine/trans need to go back in. My problem isnt with the mounting to the trans, it is the sloted end that mounts to the shifter assm., I see how the linkage attaches, however the shifter assm pin/stud is mounted to swing, therefor it does not affect the trans. position. when ran through the gear select positions, only the linkage pivots on the shifter. Hard to explian. bottom line is I need somewhere to give me an exploded view of how this attaches and operates.
