I actually did most of it (as of maybe 1 week ago). Sound is excellent, except for lack of bass (to be fixed soon).
JVC KHD-HDR30 headunit

-14 guage speaker wires
Alpine Type S 6.5" 2-way speakers (front)
Alpine Type S 6x9" 2-way speakers (rear)
I ran all new wire for everything, and the sound is excellent, just need a woofer. Then I just enable the amp's crossovers and I'll be good to go.
and I am in working on a Dual 12" subwoofer setup to add to that.
The van's stock wiring is 100% intact. I used a Walmart harness and used my own wire from there. I shut off the new head unit's built-in amp to conserve power and keep the radio cooler (I have an external amp doing all the work anyway).
