Default 05 vic, start then die

build date 06/05 Crown Vic 98,000m
problem: starts then dies after 1 or 2 seconds.

died while officer was driving, had to tow back to shop.

basics, voltage good, no fuses blown, no codes present, PO1000 checks incomplete, old air filter had crack along side so i did replace it. throttle body was cleaned prior service. still removed and checked operation. TB good. MAF good. TP an TAC sensors checked good. plugs and COP good. fuel filter was not bad, replaced anyway. problem still present.

more in depth, instructed to replace crank sensor, while doing, checked wireing and harness, no problem found there. still no fix. checked fuel pressure regulater. good. made a make shift shrader valve for rail and after some tests with this vehicle and its sister car, instructed to replace fuel pump. wasnt to sure we had icing on the cake yet but hes the boss. replaced fuel pump and checked connection thru the floor. still no fix.

also forgot to mention we switched the fuel soleniod in the engine compartment fuse box and the that made no difference.

im really leaning toward the computer maybe but i need some different opinions. i feel im on the right track but i covered the basics and im just starting to lose my patience. thanks for the comments.
