Default heater core problem...

I have 99 Windstar with 173,555 miles on it. Few months ago, I had to change heater core because all the coolant fumes were coming in through the A/C vent. About 3~4 month after fixing heater core, I had same problem again. So I had to fix heater core again for the second time. My question is will this same problem happen again? And what do you think the cause is to have the same problem twice?? any opinions??
