#5 missfire I think I can help you here. First of all when was the last time you changed your plugs and if you did then did you put OEM or after market. I had the same problem with mine and everything pointed to a defective coil. I replaced 3 coils and the problem went away for a bit and then it would start missfiring again. Finally I replaced all the plugs with Motorcraft plugs and hasn't bother me ever since. Oh by the way the plug will be the middle one in the front. Give it a try it might only cost you a few bucks abd if you need to take out the coil I will let you know how to do it easier. It's a bit more work but you won't end up with your arms all scratched up plus you can change the rear plugs as well. |
