Default ac problem

my 92 ford ranger ac has always worked aand blew cold,it had set for a long time and i turned on the ac and the compreesor clutch never turn on, it like its not gettingpower,is there a relay, fuse, switch that i should check and how should i go about trouble shooting this problem thanks
