I do have a hiss which seems it is coming from the AC accumulator/drier which I can hear for about 30 seconds after I turn off the engine. Could this hiss be the issue with my AC blowing out the defrost vents?

What finally solved this for me was I took out the little three way vacuum check valve, put it in a glass of water overnight to clean it, and have had no issues since. Don't know if it was dirty or the extra moisture gave it new life - if seemed a little crusty on the inside, not sure why.
