NEVER,NEVER go aroung crossing gates that are down!!! also DO NOT stop on ANY railroad crossing. always stay behind the crossing until the train passes. it can take a train up to a mile to come to a complete stop.
also, don't EVER try to beat a train, you will lose every time!
