I had a similar problem on 1 of my probes there is a ground next to the junction box under the hood. It has to get ground through the paint clean that ground then try it. The other ground problem I have found is located on the top of the transmission. There are I believe 6 wires going into it loacted on the upper transmission mount. This is a good place for dirt and road debris to build up.
