Default '04 Escape Racing Idle Issue

A while back my engine raced up to 3500rpm and wouldn't come down. Brought it to the dealer and they replaced the ICM(idle control motor). This solved the problem for a while. I have to go and clean out the ICM from time to time to keep it working (almost) properly. Is there something else that can be causing a racing idle besides the ICM?
