Thumbs up Building the Monster

Just thrashing around looking for a disk break kit for a friends 63 T-Bird. Any clues?

I'm building a 66 Coupe with a 302 and am converting to 5.0 SEFI. The suspension is near done with Maeir Racing Sub frame cons, Promotor sport A frame lowering and ball joint wedges, 1" anti sway, Mid eye 4.5 leafs in the rear, Cal Tracs traction bars, Fays2 watts link.

At this time, the engine is a stock 72 Bronco 302 other than roller rockers, Tri-Y headers, Edelbrock F4B Manifold and a Holley 570 cfm 4 brl. It starts to breath around 2K and really wants to play from 2.5K until it would come apart.

Instruments are VDO and a 160 mph Stewart Warner speedo in an R model dash. At this time the fuel gauge reads backward because of the missmatch between the stock sending unit and VDO's way of doing business. There is a company in San Jose that can fix that for $200. I've been buying other parts and haven't gotten it done yet.

It's got a C4 with a shift kit now, but I'll change it to a TKO 500 when I get the time and money... mostly the money.

Any body doin the same? It's really a modernization of the Terlingua cars exept I've got to keep mine street leagal... sort of. I'm not building a "clone" of anything as I can use modern technology when and where I want and I don't have to worry about matching numbers. I'm not against those who do it's just mine wasn't stock when I got it. The radio hole was hogged out and the package tray was butchered. I figured the car was a fresh canvas and I could build my dream car. Keep the dream alive!
