Antonio,
I'm not familiar with your truck, but as stated above, there is some kind of linkage between the shift lever, and your transmission. Sometimes it is a cable. At any rate there is probably a shift position sensor that will not permit the truck to get started unless it senses that the shift position is in park, or neutral ie.. NOT in gear!

It would be helpful to future readers if you could post pictures once you locate it, and discover how to adjust it.
