Colder more dense air can help burn fuel more efficiently and that decreases MPG.
My question is that is a 1992 computer calibrated the same as a 1995 computer also the same as the 1992 and 1995 mass air? If it is the 1995 mass air can work, if not it will fail.
I know with Mustangs the mass air was calibrated to the computer, if you added a bigger one that was not calibrated the same running issues would happen. This is why I cant see a newer 1995 mass air working on an older 1992 Escort.
