 I need help with a 99 contour 4cyl
The other day while driving to get a new sable my sisters contour quit and had to be towed back home. It will crank but thats about it. I tried replacing the fuel filter and spark plugs with no luck either. The fuel pump is coming on and priming, it has spark and ive tried spraying starter fluid into it and more or less same results. Every so often when you try and turn it over it pops like its going to fire and then just keeps cranking. Im not familiar with fords for the most part but im pretty mechanically inclined. The car is a 99 4cyl auto 4dr if it makes any difference. Thanks for any help, andrew. |
