Unhappy Rotors

Can anyone help? We replaced the brake pads and replaced the rotors on our 2000 Excursion. When braking it feels like we didn't do anything. Does the ABS sensor maybe need to be reset or something like that? The ABS light is NOT coming on. We are calling the Ford dealer tomorrow, but they probably won't tell us anything except "Bring the vehicle in...so we can charge you a lot of money". Thanks for any help we can get!!
We are also looking for out keyless entry code too. I'll try some suggestions I read from some of you who posted in the past and will post what I find.
