Exclamation Side window glass panel (self) blow out!!.

I walk up to my car a ('01 EB) at lunch break and I find the big passenger side rear glass panel (the one above the wheel well) shattered as if someone broke in, a friend said that sometimes the glass shorts out from the electric antenna connection or defrost in some cases, and just blows, somebody else said the "heat" did it, another that it could have been "cabin pressure",..not so sure about any of that, I tried searching the forum but could not find anything on this subject, the dealer wanted $600 for this piece of glass, another guy $779... so finally I found it for $210 installed, which it turned out to be the first one I called, talk about price difference!!..... now.. has this ever happened to any of you? I'm very puzzled by this.
Thanks in advance.
