I walk up to my car a ('01 EB) at lunch break and I find the big passenger side rear glass panel (the one above the wheel well) shattered as if someone broke in, a friend said that sometimes the glass shorts out from the electric antenna connection or defrost in some cases, and just blows
, somebody else said the "heat" did it, another that it could have been "cabin pressure"
,..not so sure about any of that, I tried searching the forum but could not find anything on this subject, the dealer wanted $600 for this piece of glass
, another guy $779
... so finally I found it for $210 installed, which it turned out to be the first one I called, talk about price difference!!
..... now.. has this ever happened to any of you? I'm very puzzled by this.
