jungleexpert Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 2	2000 ranger XLT 4x4 Transmission shifting problems Poor shifting from 1st to 2cnd gear. Shifts hard. The transimissions shifts OKAY manually. I have replaced s1 and s2 shift solenoids. Also, I replaced the rear end speed sensor along with the kick down shift solenoid on the side of the transmission. I can play with the RPM's while shifting and it shifts fine. So, It APPEARS to be a RPM or solenoid problem. Like I said, "The transmission shifts fine manually if I shift it according to the RPM's in the manual. I don't feel like it's an Internal problem other than maybe a solenoid I don't know about. HELP HELP HELP!! JungleExpert
