 buying an 81 escort tomarrow
well tomarrow im buying a 1892 escort for 150 bucks. it has brand new brakes that just need to be blead as the guy who installed them didnt know how to do it, a new battery, and some new tires. ive been doing some research and i havent been able to find much info on it. alls i know is that it has a 5 speed and a carbuerated 4 cylinder. im trying to find out what engine this may be, how many ponys its got, what kinda mileage ect. im also wanna know what motors would be an easy swap as im not very partial to 4 bangers. maybe a 6 cyl. or something? i dont know lol. im basically going to use it to get back and forth to fix my 71 f100 and get it home about 20 miles away. after that im gunna rally the piss outta it so lemme know what ideas you may have |
