Hey dieselman,
I'm sure your just trying to help, and I'm really not trying to be rude, but it seems you reply to most messages. Do you work for Ford? I weigh 145lbs and wear dress pants and dress shirt most of the time, is that abrasive? I did call Ford and they said they could not help me with anything that concerned a particular dealership, like appointment scheduling or being treated in a courteous manner, they suggested I try going to another dealership. And did you miss the part where I said I see it in most 2005 Escapes with the same fabric? Also what concern is it of mine if they notified someone they were being laid off? Does Ford not have any quality control program in place? Now I have to waste more of my time to be without a car, like I said...this will be the 5th time I will have to leave it at Ford so they can fix something, I also forgot to mention I had to go to the dealership TWICE so they could photograph the seats to make sure Ford would OK the repair. They need to sell better quality automobiles, make more money, then maybe, just maybe, their employees would be nicer and they wouldn't have to "lay anyone off". I know this sounds rude but I work in a customer service related industry where I deal with selling. I would never let a defective product be released to the general public, and if I did I would treat the complaint in a way that would please the patron, not act like it was their fault for buying it.
