Default 91 Escort Idles nice. Misfires when warms up. Smoothes out at a higher RPM.

I have a 91 Escort that I run in an 4 cyl. enduro. It idles nice, but when its had time to warm up and is under load it starts to pop and misfire. It will smooth back out again at about 4000 RPM. I have changed sensors, ignition coil, spark plugs, computer. At first it was improving it to unplug the computer. I have a race on July 1 and would really like to run. Any thoughts?
