Default 93 Ranger won't take a jump

OK, I'm just a wife trying to help my husband and his true love stay together--his 1993 Ford Ranger. "Jethro" has almost 200,000 miles on him, but he's hanging in there. Two days ago, my husband went to start the car and no dice. AAA came and said the battery was good, gave him a jump, and suggested he clean the terminals and posts. He did that, but now Jethro won't even take a jump. Any suggestions for what we should try next? I know my husband likes me, but he loves Jethro. Plus, they've been together ten years longer than we have! Thanks!
