 Need a 3rd Transmission!
Has anyone else had problem with their transmissions? I bought a 2000 Ford ZX2 used, 1 year old. It had about 16,000 miles on it. I soon found out the transmission was shot! Ford put a rebuilt transmission in it under warranty. Recently it started thumping! I asked around and was told the transmission was going out. It's got about 68,000 miles on it right now. It makes the noise when I'm stopped for a minute then go again. It's loud when I'm in overdrive, so I'm not using overdrive right now, just using drive. If anyone's heard of a recall or something for this problem, I would appreciate the information. I'm laid off and can't afford to fix it! Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
