cullinbass Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Posts: 1	2000 windstar rough start I have just bought a 2000 windstar with 76k miles and just starting having problem starting rough and will not stay idle. I would give it little more gas about 1500rpm for about a minute then the engine smooth out and stay idle and it runs find all day until the next day. I been reading about 95 and 96 windstars having the same problems and found the problems to be the head gasket. Is my 2000 windstar having similar problem. Can anyone help, I dont really want to bring to the dealer since I know they want big $$$ for this.
