I had similar but worse issues with my '05 AWD. The wrench light came on the dash and rpm's would fluxuate drastically. They diagnosed it as an incorrectly installed filter box. Engine was getting too much air. I have had similar problems since but new dealer unable to witness or diagnose. I have felt like it was in the tranny also. I am coming up on 36,000 miles and am quite worried.
